Operating Room Registered Nurse

BHS Workforce is seeking a travel nurse RN OR Circulate for a travel nursing job in Charleston, West Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

OR RN (Ophthalmology) – Travel Assignment

• Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (may stay late for cases)
• Call: 1 weekday/week, up to every other weekend, rotating holidays (30-minute response time)

Requirements:

• 2+ years of OR experience
• Ophthalmology experience required (must independently perform cataract & cornea cases)
• Must scrub and circulate ambulatory surgery cases
• BLS required

Cases:
Cataracts, corneal transplants, vitrectomy, scleral buckle, ENT, dental, minor general surgery, spine procedures, spinal cord stimulators.

Unit Details:

• 6 OR suites
• ~22 cases/day
• Epic charting
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• May float to other surgical departments

Submission Notes:

• Must live 50+ miles from the facility
• Only one WVU position can be submitted at a time
• Previous staff/travelers must meet facility rehire waiting periods.
