Senior Accountant

Title: Senior Accountant A highly competent and responsible person to provide a variety of accounting and processing functions (to include payroll processing, accounts payable, invoicing customers, etc.), and provide general accounting support to the CFO in a manufacturing, construction, service, and retail setting. Primary Responsibilities Processing of weekly payroll for over 100 employees through four (4) different companies on three (3) different platforms. Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Track open sales orders and work closely with operational leadership to create and submit customer invoices through different customer portals. Support month-end and year-end close process Verify for accuracy, then analyze and summarize gross margin analysis on all significant costing projects. Strong organizational skills with good problem-solving abilities. Skills Required Proven experience as a senior accountant with ability processing transactions in a computerized accounting system. Hands-on experience with accounting and operating software packages, like Quickbooks, Sage 100 (Manufacturing), Computer Ease (Construction). Experience working in a cost accounting environment (Manufacturing or Construction) Proficient in all Microsoft Office products with Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables Strong written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy and attention to detail Superior planning and organization skills. Accuracy and attention to detail BS degree in Accounting, Finance preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
