This position involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures such as AICD, ASD closures, TAVR, and electrophysiology studies. The role requires expertise in hemodynamic monitoring, patient assessment, and adherence to procedural protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Details Position: Cath Lab RN Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Location: Long Beach, California Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license, ACLS, BLS certifications, minimum 5 years of experience with at least 1 year in a cath lab, ICU, or ER, and experience with electronic charting systems such as Epic. Preferred Qualifications: Previous cath lab charge experience and additional sensitive certifications such as CCRN. Certifications: BLS, ACLS Responsibilities: Provide bedside nursing care for adult to geriatric patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, device implantations, and other interventional procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamics during procedures, operate and interpret hemodynamic monitoring equipment, assist in advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR, Watchman, and LVAD placement, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards. Additional Information: Ongoing support includes interdisciplinary collaboration with physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy. This position involves managing a daily census of 5-12 cases and includes weekend and on-call responsibilities. Candidates must have California licensure and Nursys verification, and RTO (request for time off) must be submitted at the time of application.
