System Engineer IISEACORP is seeking a well-qualified System Engineer II.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer in Manassas, VA or Middletown, RI. The selected candidate will join a highly talented team responsible for design and delivery of the Common Infrastructure Services (CIS) within the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS).Job Responsibilities Include:Work with software developers, test engineers, systems engineers and cyber experts to analyze and decompose requirements.Design software approaches, support integration and test, manage interfaces, and assess software deliveries.Work with the larger SWFTS community to integrate CIS releases and deploy to the fleet.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a creative problem solver and able to work effectively in a multi-team environment. Experience with Linux Operating system, Confluence and Jira is a plus.Qualifications:Education: A Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is required.Experience: 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience on software intensive systems.As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. CitizenshipLocation: Middletown, RITravel: NoneClearance: SecretWork Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens.
