We're looking for a Solution Architect to join our growing U.S. team in Detroit. This is more than a traditional customer-facing role: you'll combine customer engagement with technical product analysis and domain expertise, turning customer insights into innovative solutions that shape the next generation of digital road infrastructure. Your role and team As a Solution Architect, you are the primary technical point of contact for our customers, responsible for their long-term success with our connected product portfolio. You'll understand their challenges, design solutions that maximize the value of our platform, and bridge customer needs and product development. You’ll join a team of Customer Success Managers and Solution Architects, working closely with developers, product managers, and sales & business development teams. The role includes occasional travel to customer sites and industry events across North America, with some international travel. Your key responsibilities Support customers through onboarding, use-case analysis, solution design, training, and ongoing guidance on our products, dashboards, and analytics tools. Translate customer requirements into technical solution architectures and manage related commercial administration. Keep customers informed about the product roadmap, new features, and best practices. Streamline deliveries and reduce manual work to continuously improve customer processes. Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Data Scientists in an agile environment. Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline. Experience in road infrastructure, road asset management, pavement management, or transportation systems. Experience with data analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Preferred qualifications Experience with Python and SQL. Strong understanding of road engineering principles and infrastructure maintenance processes. Familiarity with AI-assisted software development or coding tools. Existing relationships with U.S. state DOTs, municipalities, or automotive OEMs a plus. Why NIRA?
