Responsible for providing quality customer service, practicing safe food handling procedures, assist with inventory, stocking, product rotation and maintenance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Mix and measure ingredients to form dough or batter for recipes, roll, cut, and shape dough to form rolls, pie crusts tarts, cookies, and related bakery productsCut, peel and prepare fruit for pie fillings, baking cakes, and preparing icingTraining assistants and maintaining cleanliness of the bakeryMaintaining records of customer ordersProvide quality customer service and take cake ordersEnsure cleaning supplies are stored separatelyEnsure cooler and freezer temperatures are correct and maintainedRotation of merchandise in accordance with labels and maintain department plan-o-grams and schematicsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent; Basic kitchen skills, familiar with food preparation in a bakery department. Bilingual in English and SpanishPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS: The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
