Visual FoxPro Developer

Salary: $82,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements:

• Experience converting Fox26 DOS applications to Visual FoxPro 9
• At least 5 years of application programming and development experience with FoxPro
• Strong working knowledge of SQL Server 2012 and later, including database programming and performance tuning
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and also work independently
• Visual Studio 2019 or newer, or Python experience, is a plus

• Work on-site at our Long Beach office
• Maintain our existing Fox26 DOS legacy system while building replacement VFP9 applications
• Design and develop new VFP9 solutions to enhance the functionality of legacy applications
• Work with SQL Server 2008–2012 stored procedures
• Troubleshoot and debug software to fix defects, support new hardware, and improve performance
• Integrate existing applications into new or updated systems and operating environments
• Develop or apply algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional requirements
• Help create and run test procedures for software components
