Inventory Clerk

Our client, a leader in large-scale construction projects, is seeking a Inventory Clerk to join their team. As a Inventory Clerk, you will be part of the onsite operations supporting the warehouse and materials management team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Location: Michigan City, IN

Pay Range: $20/hour

Shift: 1st shift, must be flexible to work mid morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays

What's the Job?

• Supervise receipt of inbound shipments and assist with checking in trucks against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Accurately capture and record serial numbers, lot numbers, and other unique material identifiers.
• Enter inventory transactions into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with a high degree of accuracy.
• Label, organize, set up storage locations, and properly store materials to ensure traceability and ease of access.
• Support real-time inventory updates as materials are issued, transferred, or consumed on the job site.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic construction site environment.
