In this essential role, your diligence and consistency help ensure the safety, efficiency, and success of the entire culinary team.---**Key Responsibilities*** Wash, sanitize, and dry all plates, glassware, silverware, utensils, and kitchen tools in accordance with health and safety guidelines* Clean and sanitize larger kitchen items such as pots, pans, trays, and food preparation equipment* Follow prescribed dishwashing procedures including rinse, wash, sanitize, and air-dry stages* Maintain a constant workflow to prevent dish and utensil backlog during service* Operate dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently; report any maintenance needs or issues* Properly handle and use all cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety standards* Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout shift* Return all cleaned and sanitized items to their designated storage locations* Monitor temperature and chemical levels to ensure safe sanitation practices* Perform duties independently and efficiently, with or without assistance* Support BOH staff as needed to maintain a smooth and sanitary work environment## Qualifications* Prior experience in a high-volume or fine dining kitchen preferred but not required* Familiarity with dishwashing procedures, sanitation practices, and safe chemical handling is a plus* Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures and cleaning protocols* Must have Clark County Food Handler Card---**Physical & Availability Requirements*** Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (entire shift)* Must be able to lift, carry, and transport containers and items up to 50 lbs.* Ability to work in hot, humid, and occasionally smoky kitchen environments* Must be able to navigate slick or uneven surfaces and confined spaces safely* Ability to transport items across all kitchen areas, including stairs if applicable* Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled---**Ideal Candidate Traits*** Hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented* Maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude under pressure* Values cleanliness and takes pride in creating a sanitary environment* Able to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced setting* Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without direct supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr Pieroscuisine
