Unit Manager

Unit ManagerRYZE West is seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager to oversee the clinical operations of a designated unit within a skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The Unit Manager plays a key role in driving clinical outcomes, staff engagement, and overall unit performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily clinical operations of an assigned unitSupervise, coach, and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAsEnsure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered careMonitor and improve clinical outcomes, including quality measures and survey readinessCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plansConduct rounds and address resident and family concernsEnsure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory requirementsAssist with staffing, scheduling, and performance managementSupport infection control, safety, and compliance initiativesParticipate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement programsQualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing2+ years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care settingPrior leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsKnowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term careExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience as a Unit Manager or Nurse Supervisor preferredExperience with EMR systems in long-term careDemonstrated success in improving clinical outcomes and survey performanceBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Life and Disability InsuranceCritical Illness, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity Coverage401(k) Retirement Savings PlanOn-Demand Pay OptionPaid Time Off (PTO)Tuition Reimbursement Program
