CDL-A Equipment OperatorHiring Immediately Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a CDL-A Equipment Operator for a local company working primarily at industrial and mine sites. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operating equipment, working outdoors, and taking on a variety of hands-on responsibilities. This position is full-time and offers a 4 day work week with potential for overtime based on workload. We are looking for highly motivated and dependable workers.ResponsibilitiesOperate tractors, tracked vehicles, hydroseeders, and other equipmentTransport equipment between mine sites using a Class A CDLOccasionally haul hay bales or pick up materials and supplies from vendorsAssist the foreman with daily projects and jobsite prioritiesCommunicate with customers regarding project needs and timelinesCoordinate with vendors, farmers, fertilizer suppliers, hay haulers, and others to help ensure materials and resources are available when neededPerform basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs when ableMaintain a strong focus on safe equipment operation and jobsite practicesQualificationsValid Class A CDL requiredAbility to complete MSHA trainingExperience operating tractors, tracked equipment, or similar machinery preferredStrong commitment to safetyDependable, organized, and able to work independentlyComfortable communicating with customers, vendors, and coworkersMechanical aptitude or basic equipment repair skills are a plusAbility to adapt to changing projects and prioritiesThis is a great fit for someone who likes variety, equipment operation, driving, and hands-on work rather than doing the same task every day.
