This industrial maintenance role supports a chemical cleaning manufacturing plant by ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently. The Maintenance Technician works on motorized conveyors, three-phase motors, and PLC-controlled equipment, partnering closely with two other maintenance team members to keep production running smoothly and minimize downtime.

• Perform industrial maintenance on plant equipment, including motorized conveyors, three-phase motors, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues throughout the facility to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and systems to reduce unexpected breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems, including AC/DC motors and three-phase power systems, using appropriate tools and methods.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems, including pneumatics and conveyors, to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to guide installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Perform welding tasks, including MIG and TIG welding, to repair or fabricate components as needed for equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with two other maintenance team members to plan, prioritize, and complete maintenance work orders and projects.
• Assist with maintenance repair activities across the plant, ensuring timely response to equipment issues and production needs.
• Follow safety procedures and best practices when working with electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and chemical-related processes.

• Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including work with three-phase power and AC/DC motors.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills for conveyors, pneumatic systems, and other plant equipment.
• Ability to work with and maintain motorized conveyor systems.
• Experience working with three-phase motors and related electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding for maintenance and repair work.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs or similar PLC systems in an industrial setting.
• General plumbing knowledge for plant systems and equipment connections.
• Capability to perform preventive maintenance and maintenance repair tasks safely and efficiently.

• Experience in a chemical manufacturing or processing environment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with pneumatics and related control systems.
• Comfort working in a small, growth-oriented company with evolving processes and infrastructure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a small maintenance team and production staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when diagnosing equipment issues.

This role is based in a chemical cleaning manufacturing plant with a clean, organized environment that has a slight bleach smell due to bleach-based chemical products produced on site. The position follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 5:30 AM to 4:30 PM, supporting consistent daytime hours. You work around industrial equipment such as conveyors, motors, and PLC-controlled systems, using standard maintenance tools and welding equipment. Appropriate work attire and adherence to safety guidelines are required to work safely around chemical products and industrial machinery.

This is a Permanent position based out of Manchester, TN.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
