Licensed Electrician

Job Description: Licensed Electrician - 1st Shift - Slatervilles, RI, Full-Time - First Shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) $35 -$40 pr/hr We are seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician to join our clients' teams in Slatersville, RI. This hands-on position is Installs, troubleshoots and repairs electrical systems, and electrical and electronic components and related apparatus. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, electrician skills, and experience working in a commercial or industrial facility environment. Responsibilities: Maintain all electrical apparatus and lighting systems in accordance with local and state electrical codes. Inspect electrical connections to ensure safe and reliable operation. Program electronic equipment and recommend programming changes as needed. Troubleshoot electrical issues involving HVAC systems, telephone and computer networks, conveyors, emergency lighting, power distribution systems, communication systems, data lines, new installations, and services. Diagnose malfunctions in transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged wires, cables, and components. Test malfunctioning machinery and collaborate with maintenance personnel to identify and resolve issues. Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and sensing devices. Plan wiring layouts and install wiring, conduit, and electrical equipment within buildings. Perform work that may include running heavy conduit and moving transformers. Desired Background/Skills: 5-10 years of demonstrated commercial electrical work experience. Holds an active Rhode Island (RI) Electrician Journeyman's License.
