Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele. Selected candidates must work quickly within time limits, be capable of anticipating needs, and have the ability to adapt and accommodate changes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists with food production and prepares all required items according to USDA guidelines. Serves items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards. Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary. Maintains a neat, professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times. Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations. Receives and checks all incoming orders according to HACCP guidelines. Assists in maintaining stock rotation. Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor. Skill Requirements Computer/Point of Sale (POS) proficiency. Some knowledge of commercial cooking and baking. Experience with commercial cooking equipment. Basic math skills. Effective communication. Bilingual Spanish/English desirable. General Expectations Is flexible. Has the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and co-workers. Maintains a positive attitude. Observes all district policies and procedures. Supports the Sheridan School District Strategic Plan. Essential Physical Requirements Frequent lifting of 5 to 20 pounds. Occasional lifting of 20 to over 50 pounds. Frequent reaching, walking. Occasional bending, sitting, climbing. Supervisory Duties None Clearance Must clear online background check and FBI Fingerprint check through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
