Position Title: Registered Nurse Med- Surg.

Job Location: Wichita, KS 67214

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 13 weeks

Shifts: Nights: 19:30-7:00, 36 hrs. /week

Must-Have: Active BLS, ACLS (AHA) and RN License

Responsibilities:
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre- and post-surgery patients.
• Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
• Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications promptly.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Work history/resume
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and NIHSS certifications
