IR Tech M-F 8-430 or 830-5 (depends on the day) Years of experience required: 3 First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend required: Call only Certifications required: BLS, ARRT R, Kansas License (LRT) Skills required: Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, PACS, Stocks supplies, Aortography, Chest Tube Placement, Embolization, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter removal, Inferior vena cavagram, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Pelvic angiography, Percutaneous Hepatic Angiography, Pulmonary arteriography, Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) of the liver, Renal Angiography, Selective visceral angiography, Stent placement, Angiography of genitourinary system, Catheter/drain exchange, Embolization, Gastrostomy, Internal/external biliary drainage, Nephrostomy, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Ureteral Stent Placement, Uterine Arterial Embolization, Vertebroplasty, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Accessing/Managing Ports, Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines), Central Venous Lines- Care and Maintenance, PICC Lines- Care and Maintenance, GE Innova IGS, Equipment set up, Prep access site, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Sterile Technique On-call required? Yes, Weekday call 1-2 nights/week at SLS; weekend call every 4-6 weekends at SLS/SLE. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, Regular floating may be required between departments, units and facilities as needed. This position will also help out in Xray when IR is not busy. Locals accepted: Yes Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks.
