Job Summary And Qualifications The Cardiac Sonographer is an integral part of the Cardiopulmonary team. In this role: You will be responsible for the accurate performance and coordination of various procedures in the Echocardiology Department, which includes Echocardiograms, vascular work, transesophageal echo, pacemaker analysis and exercise echo You will perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for diagnosis of cardiac disease. You must have a working knowledge of stress testing and as it relates to the Echocardiology department. Either exercise stress or pharmacological stress You will participate in PI activities. You will assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing. You will assist with other non-invasive cardo diagnostic testing. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date (RCCS) Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, or (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RVS) Registered Vascular Specialist Benefits Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
