Associate needed for Hollywood office

Job Overview A highly regarded law firm is seeking qualified law school graduates and judicial clerks for associate positions across its U.S. offices. Lateral candidates with experience in commercial litigation are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have expertise in managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings, and overseeing document review. While in-court experience is preferred, it is not a requirement. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and dynamic litigation practice. Location Hollywood, FL Duties Manage discovery processes, including document review and production. Take and defend depositions in commercial litigation matters. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to litigation. Assist in trial preparation, including research and legal strategy development. Participate in hearings, motions, and case management conferences. Provide support throughout all stages of litigation, from pre-trial to post-trial. Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize and develop case arguments. Requirements Experience in commercial litigation, including discovery, depositions, and document review. In-court experience is preferred but not required. Outstanding academic credentials. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bar admission in the jurisdiction of your office of interest or eligibility to obtain admission promptly. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the jurisdiction of your office of interest or eligibility to obtain admission promptly. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing discovery and document review. Proficiency in taking and defending depositions. Strong legal research and analytical skills. Ability to draft pleadings and other litigation-related documents. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
