Nurses are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with physicians, treatment teams, patients, and families to support recovery and positive outcomes. Position Overview Permanent, full-time role 36 hours per week Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Three 12-hour shifts per week Psychiatric unit Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the patient medical record Participate in treatment team meetings and development of patient recovery plans Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, families, physicians, and staff Recognize and appropriately respond to behavioral health concerns using therapeutic interventions Conduct patient groups and document participation and outcomes Follow hospital policies regarding restraint and seclusion procedures Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers Support unit operations and maintain appropriate staffing levels when needed Compensation & Benefits $30.00 - $45.00 per hour Comprehensive benefits package Paid Time Off starting on day one Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually 403(b) retirement plan with employer match Career advancement opportunities Success Sharing program Full-time and part-time opportunities available throughout the organization Requirements Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program Active Indiana RN license BLS certification Previous RN experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build therapeutic relationships with behavioral health patients Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles, psychopathology, growth and development, and psychosocial systems Why This Opportunity Meaningful Impact: Help patients navigate mental health challenges and support their recovery journey.
