After school tutor - ES and MS youth
BU-GATA
The Buckingham Gardens apartment complex is a lively neighborhood with a primary population of immigrant residents. Many of the youth here have grown up together and they represent a range of ages, interests, and each one has great potential.
BU-GATA is currently seeking a volunteer who can dedicate 1-1.5 hrs/week to provide tutoring to walk-in students seeking help with homework after school. Tutoring sessions will be held once a week from 4:00pm - 5:30pm at Buckingham's local Cesar Chavez Community Center - just a 10 minute walk from the Ballston Metro!
