Allied Technician - Paramedic

We are seeking dedicated and skilled paramedics to respond to emergency medical calls and provide comprehensive care for patients experiencing urgent and emergent medical conditions. The successful candidate will adhere to all relevant regulations, protocols, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health EMS Act during the performance of their duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency medical service (EMS) calls.
- Provide patient care and treatment for a variety of urgent and emergent medical conditions.
- Administer appropriate emergency medical interventions in compliance with established protocols and regulations.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Holiday Requirement
Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. For contracts that span only 2 of these holidays, travelers will be required to work 1 of the 2 holidays. Please limit holiday requests to a maximum of 1 day off.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency medical services.
- Current Pennsylvania state paramedic license.
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system is required.
Additional Information
The role may involve the care of COVID-19 patients. The facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment. Interested candidates should notify the travel team upon submission of their application.
Work Schedule
This position requires night shifts, with a typical schedule of 3 shifts per week, each lasting 12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend availability may be required as needed.
