We’re looking for a compassionate and creative Activities Assistant to help enrich the lives of our residents through engaging programs and events. If you enjoy working with seniors and making a meaningful impact, we’d love to meet you!
Job Duties:
- Assist in planning and leading individual and group activities
- Organize and maintain activity supplies
- Document resident participation and support Resident Council meetings
- Coordinate evening/weekend events and community programs
- Conduct room visits and personalized activities
- Ensure safety and infection control during sessions
- Collaborate with staff, families, and service providers
Qualifications:
- Experience in activities programming or long-term care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative and adaptable to various resident needs
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Able to move throughout the facility and interact with residents empathetically
