Position Overview

This role involves managing appointment scheduling for imaging exams, providing patients with clear preparation instructions, and guiding them on where to arrive for their exams. The ideal candidate will handle all phone inquiries with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring all necessary patient information is accurately collected. This position supports a healthcare facility serving the Pacific Northwest region, dedicated to delivering compassionate and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to unit safety and infection control protocols.
• Schedule imaging appointments and provide patients with appropriate preparation details.
• Direct patients to the correct locations for their exams.
• Respond courteously and efficiently to all phone calls.
• Prioritize and schedule urgent exams as needed.
• Confirm appointment times with patients through follow-up calls.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience scheduling appointments in a medical clinic setting; radiology experience may substitute for scheduling experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend medical terminology and related documents.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
