Clients also benefit from courteous support for up to one year after project completion. Role Description The Construction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brooklyn, NY. This individual oversees projects from pre-construction through closeout, coordinating schedules, subcontractors, and site activities to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Daily responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, tracking progress, managing budgets and change orders, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations. The role involves frequent communication with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors, translating client requirements into actionable plans and providing regular status updates. The Construction Project Manager also conducts site inspections, resolves issues, and supports punch list completion and post-construction follow-ups. Qualifications Strong project oversight skills, including Construction Project Management and Construction Management. Ability to coordinate workstreams and stakeholders, including Project Coordination and Project Management. Proficiency in financial planning and control, including Budgeting for construction projects. Experience managing residential or mixed-use construction, particularly renovations, interiors, and additions. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and design professionals. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Proven track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget. Good problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills in fast-paced environments. Proficiency with project management and construction-related software tools.
