Discover a rewarding opportunity to provide speech-language services in a supportive school environment on a contract basis from August through May 2027. This position offers a consistent weekly schedule of 32.5 hours and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
There are two available roles:
- One role serves middle/high school students, parochial school students, and a private placement agency. You’ll oversee a monthly treatment caseload of approximately 4,440 minutes and manage around 10 students. This position also involves conducting evaluation assessments.
- Another role supports an Early Childhood Center (ECC) program, with a minimal treatment caseload and approximately 15 case management responsibilities. You’ll conduct all evaluation assessments for the ECC and provide additional district support as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Expertise in case management and conducting evaluation assessments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluation assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams within the district
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with all regulations
- Offer assistance and flex support across district sites as needed
