About the Role The Safety Manager will lead and continuously improve the company-wide safety program, ensuring compliance with MIOSHA, OSHA, and applicable regulations while promoting a strong safety culture. Key Responsibilities Lead safety program development and continuous improvement Conduct jobsite inspections and audits Partner with field teams to promote safe practices Maintain safety documentation and SDS/MSDS Oversee PPE and fall protection systems Develop site-specific safety and emergency plans Support estimating and bidding with safety requirements Lead JSAs and toolbox talks Identify and mitigate hazards Track certifications and compliance Coordinate safety training initiatives Qualifications Experience in construction safety or related field Strong knowledge of MIOSHA and OSHA Experience with safety programs and audits Strong communication skills Company will support certification attainment (OSHA, HAZWOPER, etc.) Work Environment & Physical Requirements Outdoor work in varying weather Walking and standing on uneven terrain Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally Travel between job sites required Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Occasional Saturdays Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution or match Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer E.C.
