EHS&S Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a EHS&S Specialist to join their team. As a EHS&S Specialist, you will be part of the Environmental, Health & Safety department supporting multiple locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: EHS&S Specialist Location: Cincinnati, Ohio What's the Job? Support the EHS department to meet the company’s overall health, safety, and environmental goals. Author and approve Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for the site as needed. Collect and report all HSE metrics and trending data into the management system. Maintain facility records in compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and FRA regulations. Support ISO 14001 and Responsible Care audits as directed, ensuring continuous improvement. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, occupational health, environmental affairs, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS within a manufacturing environment. Strong communication and training skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety and environmental compliance. What's in it for me?
