We are seeking two experienced Manufacturing Buyers to help a leading manufacturer of fluid devices work through a substantial purchasing backlog. This position will be responsible for sourcing materials and components, expediting orders, communicating with suppliers and supporting production needs.Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73112Pay: $32-$38 per hour (based on experience)Job Type: 6-months contract/tempSchedule: M-F, 7 am to 4 pm 100% onsiteBenefits: As a contract employee of Sterling, you are eligible to receive a Full Employee Benefits Package that includes paid time off, paid holidays, 3 medical plans to choose from, dental & vision plans, 401(k), and an Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) plan.ResponsibilitiesProcess purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing and inventory recordsFollow up with suppliers regarding pricing, order status and delivery datesExpedite delayed materials and help resolve the current purchasing backlogSource raw materials, components and equipment used in manufacturingCollaborate with engineering, production, quality, logistics and warehouse teamsMonitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery and complianceHelp maintain appropriate inventory levels and prevent material shortagesResolve delivery, invoice and inventory discrepanciesMaintain supplier information within the company’s ERP systemRequirementsMust Have: At least three years of purchasing, procurement, planning or supply chain experienceMust Have: Manufacturing industry experience requiredMust Have: Experience purchasing metals, plastics, fabricated components, mechanical parts or materials used to manufacture devices strongly preferredBuyer, Expeditor, Planner and similar backgrounds will be consideredMust Have: Experience using ERP or procurement systemsStrong supplier communication, follow-up and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment#INC1Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information. #J-18808-Ljbffr
