Group Financial Accountant

We are supporting a reputable Cambridge based organisation to recruit a Group Financial Accountant on an initial 12 month contract. This role will report into the Head of FP&A and will manage a small team of 2, the key priorities are to manage all financial, statutory, tax, cashflow and regulatory reporting for the group. Responsibilities Producing monthly management accounts Management of all VAT and corporate tax fillings Supporting the Head of FP&A to produce the annual statutory accounts Management of the treasury reporting including the cashflow reports Assist with the annual budgeting process Line management of 2 junior members of the team You must be a qualified Accountant with proven experience in managing a small team and an accounting function. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders so strong communication and presentation skills are essential. You will ideally be available to start a new role within the coming weeks or have a maximum of a 1 month notice.
