Registered Nurse Medical Surgical Neuro

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care on a Medical Surgical Neuro unit. The nurse will deliver patient-centered care focused on neurological and surgical needs while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Monitor neurological status and respond promptly to changes.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical findings and patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Support patient and family education to improve outcomes and understanding.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license in state or compact license obtained prior to start.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical Surgical Neuro units.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS certification; NIHSS preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to float to related units as needed.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
