Overview

Fastest Labs is one of the fastest‐growing providers of drug, alcohol, and DNA testing in New Jersey. We deliver fast, accurate, confidential results with exceptional customer service—and we’re looking for a detail‐oriented Lab Technician to join our Edison or Union team.

This is a hands‐on, customer‐facing role with full training provided. Ideal for candidates who want to grow into leadership within a high‐efficiency, compliance‐focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide professional customer service; bilingual skills are a plus
• Administer drug & alcohol tests (urine, hair, saliva, breath, nails)
• Collect and process DNA cheek‐swab samples
• Follow strict chain‐of‐custody and documentation protocols
• Maintain a clean, compliant testing environment
• Educate clients on testing options and services
• Use multiple software platforms to schedule, process, and record tests
• Support front desk operations and inbound inquiries
• Collect payments and reconcile daily testing activity
• Participate in monthly invoicing
• Drop off specimen packages at FedEx and/or UPS as needed
• Assist with occasional outreach calls or promotional events

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of work experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Proficient with computers/tablets (Word, Excel, Google products)
• Valid driver’s license; reliable transportation preferred
• Bi-lingual a plus

Schedule

Full-Time

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Occasional overtime, after hours or weekend events, or courier drop‐offs. 

Or Part-time:

Monday-Friday 1:00 PM to 5:00PM

This Lab Technician position will be located in the new Edison office once training and certifications are completed but may also support the Union location.
