This position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with astartingsalary of $60,000- $62,500 based on qualifications andexperience.After your first year the salary will increase by $2,500($62,500 - $65,000 based on qualifications and experience).Additionally, all Teachers will receive a $3,000 contract incentivebonus each year after the first year. Experience and Skills Qualifications for this position: Must be a graduate of an accredited college and have proper andcurrent Illinois teaching credentials (PEL license). Must includeLBS1. Must meet state guidelines for school accreditation. Experience in educating children with special needs preferred.Ability to understand students unique needs and react effectively totheir needs. Experience with profound disabilites a plus.
