Physical Therapist 10k SIGN-ON BONUS!

US Physical Therapy
- Assesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
- Review the Physicians referral (Prescription) and the patients condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required.
- Provides direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines.
- Documents findings progress and instructions to patients and caregivers.
- Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
- Completes a written plan of care develops goals based on evaluation findings and develops a comprehensive program to attain goals.
- Implements physical therapy treatment program and provides essential physical therapy treatments.
- Communicates effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues including physicians and insurance companies.
- Ensure timely documentation including daily notes weekly workers compensation reports progress reports initial evaluations discharge summaries and incident reports.
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Physical Therapy program.
- Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one before employment.
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Experience or interest in outpatient orthopedic care including balance and vestibular rehabilitation.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans in an outpatient setting.
- Comfortable working independently while effectively managing a diverse patient caseload.
- Strong communication clinical reasoning and patient education skills.
- Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
