$7.50/hour + tips The Osage View Restaurant has an opening for a Summer Server position. This individual will be servicing the main restaurant, the back patio and the pool area. We are looking for candidates available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends. ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS: Greet guest in a friendly and welcoming manner Present menus and answer questions regarding food and beverage options Take orders on an electronic devise Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction Anticipate and attend to customer needs throughout their dining experience Clean and prep tables with special attention to sanitation and presentation Clean restaurant and other dining spaces upon guests leaving Help clean, organize and restock restaurant at the close of shift Process payments and maintain accurate cash/credit handling Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, Skills, And Abilities) This position requires a high school diploma. This position requires work experience and abilities in the following areas: Must be 18 years of age Must posses excellent customer service skills are a must. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to move with a sense of urgency & efficiency. Ability to remain calm, and maintain a positive demeaner even during high-stress situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to work well under pressure. Ability to maintain personal cleanliness. Prior experience as a server is preferred, but not required.
