Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy to join a hospital-based endoscopy unit in Mesa, AZ. This role is ideal for nurses with strong procedural experience who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and are comfortable assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts per week Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (start times may flex based on department needs) Hours: 40 hours per week Weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage required Job Responsibilities Provide direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures Assist physicians with procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, and other GI interventions Monitor patients under moderate sedation and ensure safety throughout procedures Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and instruments Perform patient assessments, documentation, and post-procedure recovery care Educate patients and families on procedures and discharge instructions Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care Requirements Active RN license (Arizona or compact license) BLS certification – AHA required ACLS certification – AHA preferred/required depending on unit Endoscopy or procedural nursing experience preferred Strong patient care, monitoring, and critical thinking skills This is a great opportunity for an RN with endoscopy or procedural experience looking to work in a collaborative hospital setting.
