Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a day shift OR position requiring proficiency in general, orthopedic, GYN, urology, and sports medicine cases.

Job Details

• Operating Room setting within a Level III trauma hospital,
• Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric cases,
• Must be proficient in General, Ortho (including Total Joints), GYN (including C-sections), Urology, and Sports Medicine/Spine cases,
• Day shift schedule averaging 40 hours per week with a mix of 8 and 10 hour shifts,
• Weekend rotation required approximately every 4th-6th weekend, spanning Friday afternoon through Monday morning,
• On-call requirement of 6-7 shifts per month, including individual overnight call shifts,
• Uses McKesson EMR system,

Job Requirements

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required,
• NBSTSA or TS-C (NCCT) Surgical Tech certification required,
• NH Medical Technician certification required and must be in hand prior to consideration,
• Compact license accepted,
• License required if applicable,
• Surgical Tech skills checklist required, demonstrating proficiency in total joints and C-sections,
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required,
• Previous travel experience highly preferred,
• NBSTSA certification preferred but not required,

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered,
• Requests for RTO cannot exceed 3 days,
