Lead Injection Mold Operator

Nesco Resource is hiring a Lead Injection Mold Operator for a growing manufacturer in Willoughby, OH. What You'll Do

• Set up, operate, and maintain injection molding machines to achieve production, cycle time, and quality goals.
• Lead and support second shift operators while training new employees on proper mold and press operation.
• Perform basic die cleaning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality inspections, make process adjustments, and ensure all parts meet customer specifications.
• Complete production reporting, TPM activities, 6S responsibilities, and maintain clear communication between shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous injection molding experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot molding processes.
• Ability to read work orders, technical drawings, and process instructions while using basic measuring tools.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Pay Rate: Base pay of $17-$19/hr while in training. After training is completed you will receive a $1.50 increase for being a Lead, and a $2.50 shift differential for 2nd shift bringing your pay to $21-$23/hour. Shifts: 2nd shift 3:30pm-11:30pm, must be available to train on 1st shift for up to 3 months (7am-3:30pm).
