Position Overview: As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be at the forefront of managing both acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Your responsibilities will include delivering respiratory therapies, monitoring ventilator settings, conducting diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, and collaborating with physicians to create effective care plans. You'll also work with patients and their families to provide education on managing respiratory health for long-term improvements.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program and hold a current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the NBRC. A valid Indiana license to practice respiratory care is required. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred but not mandatory, and we encourage new graduates who are passionate about patient care to apply. Strong communication and critical thinking skills, along with a commitment to high-quality care, are essential to succeed in this role.
