Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to understand each client's mental health needs and developing strategic treatment plans aimed at achieving their therapeutic goals.

  • Providing one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored around the unique requirements of your clients, focusing on facilitating personal and emotional growth.

  • Collaborating with clients to set therapeutic goals and consistently monitoring their progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on clinical observations and client feedback.

  • Offering flexible teletherapy options to clients who may prefer virtual sessions due to personal preferences or accessibility challenges, ensuring equitable access to mental health support.

  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and treatment progress to uphold ethical practices, fulfill regulatory requirements, and ensure seamless coordination within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise and empathetic approach will be critical in fostering trust, helping clients feel safe, and encouraging them to share their experiences and challenges openly.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid California state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent doctoral-level license.

  • A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities to effectively establish a therapeutic alliance with clients.

  • A compassionate, empathetic demeanor, displaying a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome applications from newly licensed clinicians, preferred candidates will have experience utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques in a clinical setting. Experience with various patient demographics, trauma-informed care, and teletherapy practices will be considered beneficial. The ability to integrate cultural competence into your therapeutic methodology will also be a significant plus.
