Compliance Analyst

About the role
You will help define and operationalize compliance programs for gateway access, fiat ramps, and high-value counterparties. The role balances regulatory awareness with pragmatic policies engineers can implement.
Responsibilities
- — Maintain AML/KYC policies, risk tiers, and escalation playbooks aligned with product flows.
- — Partner with engineering on monitoring rules, case management, and audit logging.
- — Track regulatory developments in target jurisdictions; recommend policy updates.
Requirements
- — 3+ years in compliance, AML, or regulatory operations at a fintech or VASP-adjacent firm.
- — Working knowledge of KYC, sanctions screening, and STR/SAR processes.
- — Detail-oriented; comfortable reviewing on-chain and off-chain audit trails.
- — Ability to work EU-friendly hours with US leadership overlap.
Nice to have
- — CAMS certification or equivalent.
- — Exposure to MiCA, US MSB, or APAC licensing frameworks.
