You will help shape the technical direction of the product by designing scalable, API-first systems, shipping high-quality production code, and contributing to our conversational AI platform.As a Sr Software Architect, a typical day might include the following:Set the end-to-end technical direction for the team, including platform, technology, tools, and infrastructurePartner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to shape product strategy, scope, and technical executionDesign and build API-first, cloud-native services that integrate with web clients, internal tools, and external partnersOwn projects end-to-end: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iterationDevelop and maintain scalable, distributed systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and securityContribute to the evolution of our conversational AI platform, including messaging pipelines, integrations, and data flowsWrite clean, testable, well-documented code while raising engineering standards through reviews and technical leadershipContinuously improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellenceIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layersIdentify ways to accelerate overall R&D throughput and quality using leading architectures and standardsCommunicate architecture in an effective and professional mannerDrive technical decisions, solve tough problems, and coordinate multiple project executionFoster a strong teamwork environment and create passion and energy within the team.Represents self and department with professionalism and competence.To land this gig you'll need:BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required15+ years of software development experience5+ years of software development experience on large scale and high-volume enterprise productsStrong understanding of developing in C#Experience architecting systems for performance and scalabilityExpertise in designing applications using relational and/or non-relational databasesWorking Knowledge of ci/cdExperience developing RESTful web servicesExcellent problem-solving abilities.Excellent decision-making skills.Working Knowledge of design patterns.Working Knowledge of Agile development processesStrong communication skillsStrong quality orientationMust possess strong organizational and time management skills.Bonus experience:MS in Computer Science2+ years of software architecture experience7+ years of technical leadership experience.Proficiency in AngularExperience building and operating systems on Azure, including services such as:App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Server, CosmosDB, Service Bus,SignalR, Storage Accounts, Logic Apps, Application InsightsPractical understanding of machine learning concepts and how they apply to real-world productsExperience integrating AI-powered features or working with data-driven systems is a strong plusAbout NiCENICE Ltd.
