Project Engineer

Project EngineerThe Project Engineer will assist Project Managers with the planning and execution of commercial construction projects. Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, permits, and project documentation. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Track project schedules and assist with project reporting. Review drawings and specifications to ensure project requirements are met. Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting minutes. Support procurement and material tracking efforts. Assist in resolving field and design-related issues. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Support project closeout activities and turnover packages.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. 1-5 years of experience with a commercial general contractor. Experience on commercial projects is preferred. The Project Engineer must show strong understanding of construction documents and project processes. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
