Position Summary

Position provides support for the Data Center and campus.  The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

This position reports to the Facility Manager. 

Essential Job Functions

1. Strictly adhere to data center operation practices, avoid operation of data center related equipment
2. Avoid touching the EPO (of any kind) in data centers.
3. Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
4. Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
5. Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
6. Maintain inventory and maintenance of tools and supplies used in housekeeping activities.
7. Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
8. Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
9. Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
10. Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment
11. Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.

Qualifications

Education:

1. High school degree, GED or equivalent work experience required.

Skills and Abilities

1. Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper.
2. Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
3. Customer-oriented and friendly.
4. Prioritization and time management skills.
5. Working quickly without compromising quality.
6. Knowledge of English language.
