Job Details

• Position: Respiratory Therapist
• Location: Omaha
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 12x3

• Weekly Pay: $1850 to $2060

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and patient assessments
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and breathing treatments
• Monitor ventilators and other respiratory support equipment
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and rapid response situations
• Perform diagnostic testing including ABGs and pulmonary function support
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care plans and therapies

Requirements

• Active Respiratory Therapist license/credential required
• Active state licensure in Nebraska if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience
• BLS and ACLS Certifications required
• NRP certification preferred for applicable units
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced acute care environments
