Responsibilities for this Position:

• Communicate both written and orally to users of all levels and varying levels of NIH
• Monitor and report on daily status of data movement in production environment.
• Log and communicate ETL status, database performance and metrics, load error monitoring and troubleshoot ETL issues.
• Performs installation and maintenance of various COTS and custom software on Linux and Windows environments.
• Works closely with the vendors/stakeholders to develop reliable processes for integration of data with existing systems and software.
• Monitor and troubleshot the HL7 interfaces receiving both live feed and file data for ETL processes
• Install, configure and maintain client and server side applications running on Oracle and Java technologies.
• Perform important time-sensitive reporting that includes monthly system utilization statistics reporting directly to the client, as well as bi-weekly data team project status reports to the program manager.
• Coordinate communications between functional areas and the client to ensure that the integration of existing and new, enhanced reporting offerings met client specifications and expectations.
• Process various data extraction and data loading requests from business team and end users, utilizing both Microsoft SQL Server and IBM Netezza sources
• Maintain standard operating procedures for position functions

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• PL/SQL or T-SQL Experience
• MS Excel Experience

Rate: $37/hr all inclusive Conversion Salary: $55000/year
