Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Material Estimator to join our team at our Pensacola Location. The Material Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the quantity and cost of materials needed for various projects and ensuring that materials are ordered and delivered in a timely manner. Responsibilities Review project plans and specifications to determine material requirements Calculate the quantity of materials needed for each project Obtain price quotes from suppliers and negotiate pricing Create and maintain accurate material take-off lists Coordinate with project managers and purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of materials Track material costs and update estimates as needed Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative materials Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Requirements Proven experience as a Material Estimator and Take Offs Previous experience with the Plan Swift Take Off Program Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other estimating software Effective communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training is a plus Benefits Health Ins, Dental, Vision, Life, etc.. 401K w/Company Match Paid Holidays & Paid Vacation Time #J-18808-Ljbffr Dufrene Building Materials Inc
