The OHSU Clinical registered nurse (RN) provides compassionate, evidence-based, and efficient care to individuals, families, communities and patient populations. The nurses of the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) provide patient and family centered care to the patient populations of neurosurgery, neuro‑medical and stroke including: subarachnoid hemorrhage, cerebrovascular aneurysms, microvascular decompression, cerebrovascular thrombosis, intraparenchymal hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, tumor resection, myasthenic crisis, aneurysm clipping, coiling, and stents. Function/Duties of Position $55.24 – $92.02 per hour with offer based on experience, education and internal equity Join us! Our 17‑bed ICU has immediate access to 24‑hour CT and MRI services, OR and interventional radiology suites to enable rapid access to care. Our typical cases include complex neurosurgery, ischemic stroke, intracranial hemorrhage, neuromuscular disorders and epilepsy (among others). Substantial public transportation discounts (Tri‑met and C‑Tran) Tuition Reimbursement program Innovative Employee Assistance Program (EAP) including extensive wellness resources Required Qualifications 1‑year of Critical Care experience Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) Associate Degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire. Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License BLS and ACLS from AHA required. New hires will be enrolled and required to complete during orientation. Either Transition to Practice (TTP) Program Specialty Fellowship/Fellowship Learning Pathway or Orientation experience for 3 days‑26 weeks depending on the care area.
