Mechanical Design Engineer Opportunity

An established design and manufacturer of industrial equipment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a hands-on mechanical engineer who enjoys owning complex projects from concept through fabrication.

This organization designs and manufactures custom industrial and process equipment for demanding applications requiring tight tolerances and extreme operating conditions. Their equipment supports aerospace, military, metals, and mining customers across the U.S.

Job Type: Full-time, direct hire.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design large custom industrial products and mechanical systems using SolidWorks
• Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for shop use
• Perform mechanical, structural, fluid flow, and heat transfer calculations
• Review customer specifications and ensure design completeness and quality
• Collaborate with manufacturing and support builds on the shop floor as needed

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Compensation: $90,000-$130,000 annually

Mechanical Design Engineer Qualifications:

• 2+ years of mechanical design experience in industrial or heavy equipment environments
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and solid modeling for large assemblies
• Working knowledge of fluid flow, heat transfer, and basic hydraulics is preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with sufficient experience.
