SummaryThe Associate Director, Neuroscience Operations, is responsible for understanding data needs across stakeholders in the and working with cross-functional partners (e.g., BOS, Brands and Field) to deliver dashboards and reports that improve performance monitoring and timely generation of business insights.Reporting to the Director of Operations & Strategy for Neuroscience, the Associate Director, Neuroscience Operations will have significant interaction with key internal stakeholders, with a primary focus on the field force.By providing day-to-day support to cross-functional partners, the incumbent will play a major role in our efforts to meet brand strategic objectives and will have a strong impact on sales planning, execution, and overall operation of the business unit.Main Responsibilities & Technical CompetenciesIn partnership with the Neuroscience Leadership team, support execution of projects that will position the BU successfully in a rapidly evolving landscapeIdentify stakeholder needs related to key performance indicators, sales data and Field activity dataPartner with Business Operations and Strategy (BOS) function to provide data driven insights to inform/improve decision-making processesManage monthly performance reporting processes for Neuroscience, in collaboration with BOS & Finance partnersManage internal, cross-functional quarterly business reviews with Medical and V&A colleagues with focus on metrics & insightsTrack and prioritize data requests across BU, communicate availability of reports/data sources internally to enable shared understanding of performance at national and regional levelCollaborate with the Neuroscience Brand & Field teams to develop pipelines and workflows aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of data sharingLead data working group to ensure reporting and data availability are understood by and meet the needs of teamsAssist in brand and tactical planning as needed in collaboration with cross functional teamsAssist in preparation of POA meetings, cross functional meetings, leadership off-sites and team building eventsCollaborate with training team on the creation and execution of new resources and development programsWork closely with Operations leads from Oncology and Rare Disease business units to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the Neuroscience Business UnitDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders internal and externalEnsure timely and accurate execution of ad-hoc requests by executive leadershipOversee the effective communication process for the Neuroscience sales teamSupport and help implement continuous process improvements across all US commercial functionsBehavioral Competencies RequiredCustomer (& Patient) Focus : Building strong customer/patient relationships and delivering customer-centric solutionsDisplays and echoes the "patients' voice" through all touchpoints;Understands and integrates the patient ecosystem view;Ensures we set and shape our "sight" on what matters for patients and societyBusiness Insights : Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goalsMakes decisions based on data, facts, and figures, and considers different perspectives and the patients' voice;Able to translate to objectives and setting the barExcellence in execution : Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals and consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstancesApproaches priority setting and setting the stage through the lens of execution;Establishes clarity about the goals, accountabilities, timelines, and next steps; or equivalent education + experienceAbility to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated consistent track record of success in project management and producing results as a team and/or individual contributorWorking within an environment of strict compliance to all appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs and tools that achieve business objectives.Willingness/ability to travel domestically, while working under a hybrid structure from our Cambridge, MA regional headquarters(Preferred)Advanced degree (e.g. MBA)At least 3 years of Management or Strategy Consulting experience, within a Life Sciences or Pharma/Biotech practiceAnalytical background with the ability to integrate multiple data sets, analyze large data sources and create executive summaries for quick turnaround from complex sets of information.Ability to deliver impactful presentations, supported with data (Ideally experience with Specialty Rare Disease data analytics)Successful launch experience is strongly preferredThe annual base salary range for this position is $143,000 - $210,000.This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentives program.At Ipsen we are proud to offer a comprehensive employee benefits package, including 401(k) with company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, as well as flexible spending accounts.
