Purchasing Buyer

We have an immediate need for a Procurement Buyer/Planner at a leading chemical manufacturing company conveniently located in Bucks County. This is a full time direct hire opportunity. Must have purchasing experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
Job Duties Include
- :Understand and utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to schedule orders as well as manage inventory in support of the segment responsible
- .Determine order requirements within purchasing lead time and initiate purchase orders
- .Create Purchase Orders per demand and confirm delivery from Suppliers
- .Ensure product cost fields are accurate and reflect current active Supplier Pricing
- .Calculate and manage target stocking levels and economic order quantities per SKU throughout the distribution network to ensure high customer service levels
- .Ensure appropriate communication and processing of changed orders with vendors
- .Management of railcars placement and chemical logistic
- sMaintain purchase order files, invoice reconciliation and other related purchasing records
- .Receive inventory into system and resolve discrepancies in quantities on Purchase Orders with vendors
- .Recommend and assist in development of purchasing related processes and procedures
